Instead of using the dryer, hang up your clothes on a wooden dryer. Run the washer only in the evening - it costs less - off peak hours. WEar slippers and an extra layer and turn down your heat. Invest in energy efficient appliances. REcycle paper - you can take your old paper and make new paper! You can get a kit online I'm sure. Shop at thrift stores - you can even find NEW clothing WITH TAGS. Share rides with others going the same way - you can call your local public transportation center - bus place - and ask to be hooked up with commuters going to the same place - in most states.
